Second, begin to take a prenatal vitamin, but talk to your doctor or midwife first about the best one for you.

Third, think about your behavior. Certain things could harm your baby. Smoking and drinking alcohol can put your baby at risk for health problems. If you need help with a plan to quit smoking or drinking, talk to your doctor or midwife.
