Nights with a hungry baby

Do I need to wake my baby for feedings at night?

In the beginning, you need to feed your baby 8-12 times per day, which translates to every 2-3 hours. It's normal for your baby to wake up hungry throughout the night, but don't worry – it will get better! As long as your baby is waking up to eat every 2-3 hours, there's no reason to wake them unless your pediatrician has told you otherwise.

Do I need to pump at night if my baby sleeps through the night?

Such a great question! If your baby is nursing throughout the day with normal pees and poops and is growing well, there is no need to pump at night unless your pediatrician has a concern. Go to sleep!
