How Pacify Helps Families of Color

For the final post in Pacify’s Black Breastfeeding Week Series, IBCLC and Pacify provider Tonya Daniel and Chief Clinical Officer Melanie Silverman discuss how Pacify can help families of color.

"Every time somebody calls is, to them, an emergency - we can't erase their perception that this is critical....

Pacify solves that.  If I need some help, I can push the button and have somebody right there.  It eliminates that barrier, that wait time - can I get somebody to help me, or somebody who will dismiss [my] sense of urgency?

Which is another thing that particularly black and families of color have had historically....any time somebody picks up that phone and hits that button to call Pacify, it's important....To have that accessible is tremendous."
